Consisting of beautifully restored old Greek mansions from late 19th century, Gül Konakları (Rose Mansions in English) is the perfect place to relax and rewind after touring around Cappadocia. Gül Konakları Sinasos consists of two Greek mansions built on an area of 4000 m2 with carved stone and rock of the region in the second half of the 19th century. The restoration of the mansions started in September 1998 and was completed in June 2002. Diligently restored to maintain the authentic features of the building, our hotel contains guest rooms that are furnished with their own unique character. Our little gem of a town called Sinasos (modern-day Mustafapaşa) used to be inhabited by Greek Orthodox and Muslim communities before the Population Exchange of 1924 between Greece and Turkey. Comprising 80% of the population, the Greek Orthodox community of Sinasos flourished due to their commercial success in caviar and seafood trade between Istanbul and the Black Sea region. 19th century Sinasos became an artistic, cultural and economic hub in central Anatolia, earning honorary names such as “The Pearl of the East” and “Athens of Asia Minor”. Beautiful rock carved buildings together with exquisite stonework from late 19th century, and quiet landscape of Cappadocia leave visitors in awe of Ottoman-Greek heritage just 5 km distance to Ürgüp city center. Today, Mustafapaşa continues to protect the cultural heritage of Greeks who left their hometown a century ago, in relation to the traditions brought by Muslim immigrants who settled in Sinasos after 1924. Has Cave Konak , 6 kaya, 2 konak ve 1 kemerli odadan oluşan 1830‘lu yıllardan kalma bir Osmanlı Konağıdır. 1800'lü yıllarda Konağın sahipleri Osmanlı'nın son Şeyhülislamlarından biri Ürgüp' lü Mustafa Hayri Efendi'nin eşi Munise Hanım'dır. Sizleri, Efsunlu şehir Kapadokya'nın doğa ve tarihin bütünleştiği yerlerini ziyaret ederken, evimizde misafir etmekten mutluluk duyarız.Mağara odalarda el yapımı kaya yataklar ile komodinler, el oyması yatak başlıkları, antika dolaplar, oyma makyaj masaları el oyması ahşaplarla süslenmiş olup yerel yapıdan çok fazla uzaklaşmamıştır. Sadelik göz önünde bulundurularak dekore edilmiştir. Konak bölümünde freskli yemek odalarımız, biri Ürgüp manzaralı gün batımının tadını çıkarabileceğiniz bir terasa sahip iki dinlenme odamız, Konak ile mağara bölümüne geçiş tarihi ahşap ve hezenlerle süslenmiş balkonumuzdan sağlanmaktadır. Ayrıca tüm Ürgüp'ten Mustafa Paşa köyüne kadar uzanan manzaralı iki restaurant terası bulunmaktadır.
