Taş (Tahsh) Otel , opened in 2001, is the first “hotel de charme” in Alaçatı. It is a tastefully renovated, 120 year old Greek mansion. “Taş” means stone in turkish and it is the main building material used in the hotel. The owner of Taş Otel, Ms. Zeynep Öziş, is among the founders of the Alaçatı Preservation Society and thanks to the efforts of this society, Alaçatı is considered to be one of the ten most beautiful towns in Turkey.
