Mardin’in eski evlerinden toplanmış orijinal mobilya ve eşyalarla dekorasyonu yapılan Misafir Evi’nin yüksek tavanlı odalarında havalandırma, odanın içinde veya dışında özel banyo, çiçeklerle çevrili bir iç avlu ve Mardin manzaralı bir teras bulunmaktadır. İpekyolu Misafir Evi, Mardin’de yaşayan kadınların sosyal bir girişimi olan İpekyolu Kadın Kooperatifi tarafından işletilmektedir. Misafir Evi’nde kullanılan doğal sabundan, hazırlanan yöresel yiyeceklere, kullanılan dekoratif eşyalardan, misafirlere sunulan hizmetlere kadar her şey İpekyolu Kooperatifi üyesi kadınlar tarafından hazırlanmaktadır.
